"As for ourselves, perhaps the first thing each of us should try to do is to become that excellent person, and to spread that good influence to the people around us. By retraining the body and mind, people become capable of respecting people."
Kaiso So Doshin
Absolutely!! Shorinji Kempo is based on natural body movements and can be learned by anyone that is willing to work hard, learn and has a positive attitude.
In Shorinji Kempo, we train to our abilities. The purpose of Shorinji Kempo is to strengthen ourselves mentally and physically.
We all must start somewhere and all learn from each other, regardless of rank or level. In fact, there is a famous Japanese saying "Shoshin wasuru bekarazu - Never forget your beginner's heart."
In Shorinji Kempo, there is a limitless potential for learning. Years of training could not exhaust it. However, what you have in the beginning, the excitement and desire, is precious!
